Petit Verdot is the secret ingredient in many great wines. The firm, ripe tannins provide aging potential without being overly astringent. Recommended for red meats and hearty meals; best served at approximately 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
This Bordeaux-style Petit Verdot opens with a hint of coffee bean on the nose, followed by velvety tannins and bright acidity on the palate. This wine is ready to drink now but it will also age gracefully for many years.
